About

Once upon a time there were two guys – Ron & Steve. Ron & Steve both LOVED podcasts, and LOVED the world of web design. “Hey” they said, “We should do a podcast about web stuff!” And Einstein and Sock Monkey was born. Which one is Einstein & which is Sock Monkey? Wouldn’t YOU like to know?

Your Hosts:

Steve Martin, User Experience DesignerSteve Martin – @CleverCubed

Steve Martin is a User Experience Designer who now works for a huge corporation (and loves it!). He’s worked in the web design industry since 2001 and has been involved in all aspects of website design and development.  From 2004 to 2010 he owned Floating Point Media, Inc., a full-service web design agency in Colorado Springs and Fort Collins, Colorado, and from 2004 to 2006 was a partner in Ecommerce Rep, LLC, a consulting firm based in Colorado Springs, Colorado that assisted large manufacturers in selling their products direct to the public online. He still “owns” Clever Cubed, but isn’t accepting any clients.

UX Design, Usability, Information Architecture and Colorado are passions of Steve’s. He can usually be found around Old Town, Fort Collins on his bike or in his bright orange vintage Beetle with coffee in one hand and sketching a site-map with the other.

Ron ZasadzinskiRon Zasadzinski – @ron_z

Ron is the Owner & Lead Web Developer of CodeGeek.net. His diverse background ranges from working as a nuclear physicist for the Department of Energy to being an experienced flight instructor with more than 7,500 hours of flight time. Since 2000, Ron and his company have developed custom software and web sites to a plethora of businesses including land surveyors, a coffee company, a surgical practice, a financial services company, cultural exchange organizations, an insurance agency, other software developers, and multiple aviation companies. Josh is also a student at Colorado State University, and has almost completed his degree in Computer Information Systems, although that degree can’t come fast enough. When he’s not living, breathing, or dreaming in HTML and CSS, Josh has embraced almost every geeky pastime there is, from avidly reading to playing video games, to pencil and paper roleplaying, to creating websites and applications for fun. Josh can usually be spotted surrounded by caffeine-loaded detritus, listening to his much-needed music, lit by the comforting glow of at least one monitor.
